Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to engage in Christian counseling?

No, our therapists welcome and honor every individual's spirituality and cultural background. This journey is all about you!

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, some of our therapists provide virtual sessions. For some clients, in person sessions can offer the opportunity for the use of art therapy or play therapy techniques to engage in a hands on therapeutic experience.

What should I expect for my first session and beyond?

During your first session, your therapist will spend time getting to know more about your needs and goals for wellness. If you are new to counseling or have been to counseling before, our therapists understand the amount of vulnerability a client can experience during this journey. We strive to create a warm, caring, and safe space for you to explore the areas in your life that need healing. Our therapists welcome questions and feedback to guide you along this journey.

Can I use my insurance?

Yes, all of our therapists provide counseling sessions for those with Medicaid. Some of our therapists provide counseling sessions for those with insurance through their work place or Health Connect Colorado. Not all insurance plans offer mental health benefits. For those whose insurance plans don't, sessions range from $105 ‐ $135 for a 50 minute session.

What if you don't accept my insurance?

Some insurance plans will reimburse members for services. 50 minute sessions range from $105 ‐ $135. You can always check with your insurance provider for more information about coverage for mental health services.

Do I have to use my insurance?

Not at all. We understand that you may not want to use insurance for services. Please let your therapist know this information when you schedule your first session.

Is my health information private and protected?

Absolutely! Our therapists use HIPAA compliant software and encrypted email messaging to protect your health information.
